This article is the latest output from ACHA’s work as a partner on the Developing resources and minimum dataset for Care Homes Adoption (DACHA) study. This study helped to develop an agreed set of information about UK care home residents that could be used as the basis of care planning. This paper explored how data could be used to help care home staff do their job. There was a particular focus on how data about quality of life could help understand, and focus upon, what matters most to residents.
This work will now be used as the basis of ongoing work to help standardise approaches to data in UK care homes. You can read the article in full here.
