Welcome! Thank you for your interest in our Community Advisory Group (CAG).
We are looking for local people to join our CAG. Your involvement will help us choose the right research topics and track progress to improve care and support for older people in north east London.
The aim of the CAG is to provide community-based advice and guidance to the ACHA Board, staff and partners.
The forum will serve as a voice for the community and local study participants, providing input into research planning and local education and training programmes.
The CAG will work to ensure that research strategies acknowledge and respect the values and cultural/ethnic differences among participants.
The Community Advisory Group will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and giving feedback on engagement/ research
- Offering community perspectives and identifying barriers
- Giving advice on collaboration opportunities
- Giving recommendations to the ACHA board
- Evaluating and monitoring the work of ACHA
- Community engagement strategies
- Advocacy
Future opportunities will include taking part in:
- Surveys and Questionnaires: share your thoughts to guide our research
- Public events and Forums: Attend our events to learn more and share your ideas
- Workshops and Focus Groups: Join group discussions to talk about specific topics
